The thrill's in the hunt! But seriously, finding EX Pokemon cards in booster packs is mostly about luck. These cards are rarer than your common or garden variety, so there's no guaranteed method. However, buying booster packs from reputable retailers or directly from the official Pokemon website increases your chances of getting legit packs. Remember, each booster pack's contents are random, but sticking to fresh, sealed packs is your best bet.

Luck aside, some fans swear by certain 'techniques' like weighing packs or choosing packs from certain parts of a booster box, claiming it ups their chances for rare cards. As someone who's opened more than their fair share of booster packs, I've seen it all but honestly, these methods are more myth than anything. Just enjoy the excitement of opening new packs!

Simply put, it's all RNG (random number generation). EX cards are randomly inserted into packs. The more packs you open, the higher your chances. That's the game!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
