Finding fossils in Animal Crossing is basically like going on a treasure hunt! Just roam around your island and keep your eyes peeled for little cracks on the ground. Those cracks are where the fossils are hiding. All you gotta do is whip out your shovel and dig! Each day, your island will spawn a few new fossil sites to discover. Just remember, the museum can only take one of each kind, so duplicates can make you some nice bells if you sell 'em at Nook's Cranny.

Honestly, just wander. Fossils are everywhere, you'll trip over them eventually.

Digging for fossils? Easy peasy! Just look for star-shaped cracks on the ground every day around your island, dig them up with a shovel, and BAM, you鈥檝e got yourself a fossil. Take them to Blathers in the museum to get them assessed and see what ancient treasures you've unearthed!

You're all saying 'look for star-shaped cracks,' but let's not forget, you can also get fossils from your friends' islands. More land, more fossils. Just saying, it's a good way to complete your collection faster.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
