Just wander around the east side till you find it. If you hit super mutants, you've gone too far. Goodneighbor's where the cool kids hang - follow the sound of jazz and gunfire.
Fast travel to Boston Common and then head northeast. You'll bump into it on your way to the Massachusetts State House. Can't miss it if you follow the main roads and keep your Pip-Boy's radio on for atmospheric vibes!
Easiest way? Follow the Freedom Trail's red line. It literally leads you through Boston's landmarks and gets you close. From there, a couple of rights and lefts, and welcome to Goodneighbor!
Honestly, just stumble around Boston until you bump into it. Goodneighbor's not exactly hidden, but it ain't signposted either.
