You can catch Goopollas in the rivers and lakes of the Plains of Eidolon. They like to hang out in the daytime, so get your fishing rod ready!
To find a Goopolla, head to the Plains of Eidolon and start fishing in the freshwater lakes and ponds. Make sure to equip an appropriate spear and bait like the Twilight Bait to increase your chances!
I had the best luck catching Goopollas at Gara Toht Lake in the Plains of Eidolon. Just use the Lanzo fishing spear and some Twilight Bait, and you're good to go!
