Hot take: Gyroids are cool and all, but focusing on fishing and catching bugs might be more rewarding. Gyroids don't do much except make noises. Just saying.

Finding gyroids in Animal Crossing is like going on a treasure hunt! After it rains, check around your island for little star-shaped cracks in the ground. Dig them up, and you might find a gyroid fragment. Make sure to water these fragments, and by the next day, you'll have a full gyroid ready to add some quirky music to your home!

As someone who's played Animal Crossing for years, I've found the best time to hunt for gyroids is right after a rainy day. Check every spot on your island because those little guys can be hiding anywhere! And remember, you have to plant the gyroid fragments and wait a day for them to 'grow' into full gyroids.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
