Finding a Hallowed Chest in Terraria isn't as hard as it might seem! First off, you gotta be in Hardmode. Then, head to the Dungeon after defeating Plantera. Hallowed Chests are pretty unique with their rainbow coloring, so they stand out. Make sure you have the Hallowed Key, though, or that chest isn't opening for anybody.
Look, everyone says go after Plantera, but here's the thing: focus on enjoying the exploration. Terraria's all about the journey. So, while you're at it, keep an eye open for that rainbow-colored chest in the Dungeon during Hardmode. You'll thank me later.
I remember spending HOURS looking for that Hallowed Chest, only to realize I wasn't in Hardmode. Make sure your world is in Hardmode, then the Hallowed Chests are in the Dungeon. Got mine after defeating Plantera. Those rainbow chests are a sight to behold!
