First off, check the bottom of the car. That's where you'll usually find the name, along with the year of manufacture. Another solid move is to hit up the Hot Wheels website or use their app. They have a massive database where you can search by year, series, or even color! And if you're into it, joining Hot Wheels forums and Facebook groups can be super helpful. Collectors there are always ready to help out and might even have some insider info.

Simply flip it over and read the bottom. It's like the car's ID card!

I find that asking in Hot Wheels communities is the best. Real people, real passion, real answers.

Honestly, just Google the description of the car. 'Red Hot Wheels car with flames' surprisingly works more often than not. The real enthusiasts have cataloged practically everything!

A lot of newer models have QR codes on the packaging that take you right to their profile online. Old school cars? Good luck, it's an internet deep dive for you.

If love Hot Wheels, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Several of those prizes are trending Hot Wheels, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
