How to Find Your Lost Dog in Fallout 4
No need to panic! If Dogmeat goes missing, first thing, check your Doghouses in Sanctuary and other settlements. Players often find him chilling there. If he's not there, try fast traveling or sleeping in-game for a few hours; sometimes that'll magically bring your furry friend back. Still no luck? Use the settlement bell to gather everyone - including Dogmeat. If all else fails, you might have to load an earlier save. Remember, Dogmeat's a tough pup; he always finds his way back eventually.

Honestly, just wait. Dogmeat has this uncanny ability to show up when you least expect him. Go about your questing, and he'll likely pop up by your side after a fast travel or when you enter a new area. Dogs in Fallout 4 have a knack for finding their way home.
For real, I lost Dogmeat once and about lost my mind. Ended up finding him back at Red Rocket where we first met. Always check there if you can't find him anywhere else. Also, make sure he's not waiting at some random quest location. That happened to me too. Good luck!
