Actually, finding Mooncalfs isn't just about the full moon. Your best bet is to head towards open fields around the Forbidden Forest and near Hogsmeade. Keep an eye on the lunar cycle in the game and venture out at night during a full moon. They love peaceful, quiet spots where the moonlight shines brightly.

Honestly, just enjoy the game and you'll bump into them eventually. I was just roaming around aimlessly one night and poof, there was a herd of Mooncalfs. So don't sweat it too much.

To find a Mooncalf in Hogwarts Legacy, you gotta wait for a night with a full moon! These shy lil creatures only come out during full moon nights, and you can often spot them in moonlit fields away from too much commotion. So, mark your calendar, wait for the right night, and venture out to the less crowded areas around Hogwarts. Don't forget to tread lightly, or you might just scare them off before you even see them!
