How to find out the value of your Pokemon cards
HouselingMoon路7 months agoA local game store can be a goldmine for this. Many will do appraisals, or at least give you a ballpark figure. Plus, it's a great way to meet fellow enthusiasts and maybe even trade.

Honestly, just Google it. I typed in 'Charizard Base Set 1st Edition' and found a ton of sites with prices. Make sure to check a few to get a good average. Condition is key, so be realistic about whether your card is mint or more 'loved'.
eBay's your best bet. Look at what cards like yours have recently sold for, not what people are listing them at. There's a big difference, and it'll give you the most accurate picture of what your cards are worth.
First off, check out TCGplayer.com or eBay sold listings. They're like the holy grail for getting real-time values based on what people actually paid. Just type in the full name and edition of your card, and voila! Don't forget to account for the condition of your card cause a little scratch can make a big difference.
