TBH, if you're actively looking for spider nests, you're braver than me. Nightmares for days. But seriously, just explore the cavern layers, and you'll bump into one sooner or later. No special equipment needed, just the standard spelunking gear and maybe a stronger weapon because, you know, spiders.
