How to find Steampunker in Terraria
Finding the Steampunker in Terraria is all about defeating a boss first! Any mechanical boss will do, like The Destroyer, Skeletron Prime, or The Twins. Once you've shown one of those bosses who's boss, the Steampunker will soon move into any suitable housing you've got prepared. Make sure you have an empty house ready for her arrival!

Honestly, just beat a mechanical boss. If you don't see the Steampunker after that, check if your houses are up to code. NPCs can be picky!
