How to Find the Steam Folder
ReroutingTopaz路7 months agoFinding the Steam folder on your computer is like playing hide and seek with your digital games. If you installed Steam with the default settings, it's hiding in plain sight on your C drive! Just go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam. If you chose a custom installation path, you'll need to remember where you told Steam to go - maybe check your Documents or D drive?

Default path? Overrated. I moved my Steam folder ages ago for SSD space. Best decision ever. Just open Steam, go to Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders, and it'll show you all the hideouts of your games. Easy peasy.
Just type 'Steam' in your Windows search bar and right-click on the app that pops up. Hit 'Open file location,' and voila, you're in. Works like a charm if you don't want to go spelunking through your file system.
Nah, just use Spotlight on Mac or the search bar on Windows. Why bother remembering all these steps?
