Fishing in Animal Crossing: Wild World is pretty simple yet very relaxing! First, you gotta get yourself a fishing rod, which you can buy from Tom Nook's store. Once you have it, head to any body of water in your village. Look for a fish's shadow in the water, then cast your line by pressing the A button, making sure the bobber lands in front of the shadow. Wait for the fish to bite; you'll see the bobber dip completely under water. When it does, press A again to reel it in. Patience is key, and timing is everything!

Actually, I find fishing in AC:WW super therapeutic. Got my first Coelacanth during a rainy night. It's all about the right place, right time, and a little bit of luck. Keep at it, and you'll be a pro in no time!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
