Fishing in lava in Terraria 1.4 is pretty cool! First up, you'll need a few things: a Hotline Fishing Hook, which you can snag as a rare drop from the Angler after completing 25 quests, or use any fishing rod with bait combined with a Lavaproof Fishing Hook accessory. The Lavaproof Fishing Hook can be found in Hellstone Crates or Obsidian Crates, which you fish out of lava. If you're just starting, focusing on getting those crates for the Lavaproof Fishing Hook might be easier than banking on the Hotline Fishing Hook drop.

Just use the Hotline Fishing Hook, lol. Seriously, it's a game changer for lava fishing.

Honestly, I found a bug once where I could fish in lava with just any rod. But, I think they patched it. So stick to the official gear they tell you about if you wanna keep it legit!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
