To fish in lava in Terraria, first thing's you need is a Hotline Fishing Hook, which you can only get after defeating the Wall of Flesh to unlock Hardmode. It's a rare drop from the Angler's quests. Alternatively, use lava critters like Lavafly, Hell Butterfly, or Magma Snail as bait; these can be caught with a Bug Net in the Underworld.

Just use the Lavaproof Fishing Hook! It lets any fishing rod catch fish in lava. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Plus, it鈥檚 not that hard to get. You can find it in Shadow Chests or from Obsidian and Hellstone Crates fished from lava.

Good luck trying to fish in lava without turning into a roasted marshmallow first! ? But seriously, the Hotline Fishing Hook or Lavaproof Fishing Hook accessory is your go-to. Remember, fishing in lava isn't just for the daring, it's for the prepared.
