Honestly, fishing in the Underworld is overrated. Just battle monsters, way more fun and less waiting around.

Just use the Hotline Fishing Hook. Only rod that lets you fish in lava, no biggie.

Fishing in the Underworld in Terraria is all about prepping the right gear and finding the perfect spot! First, make sure you have a good fishing rod - the Hotline Fishing Hook is a must because it's one of the only rods that can fish in lava. Getting bait is the next step; the best for this is the Hell Butterfly or Lavafly, which you can catch in the Underworld with a Bug Net. Finally, find a nice, big pool of lava to cast your line into. Patience is key, so cast your line and wait for the underworld critters to bite!
