Fishing in lava in Terraria is totally a thing, but not with your regular old worm on a hook! First up, you'll need a Hotline Fishing Hook, which you can only snag as a rare drop from fishing in lava itself. Talk about needing to get hot to handle the hot, right? The other way to go about it is by using a Lavaproof Fishing Hook which you can find in Hellstone Crates or Obsidian Crates. Oh, and don't forget to grab some lava critters with a Lavaproof Bug Net for bait. Happy sizzling fishing!

Actually, I caught my rarest fish in lava using the Hotline Fishing Hook. It's all about patience and having the right gear. Nothing beats the thrill of pulling out a cool catch from a pool of molten magma. Also, remember to stock up on Obsidian Skin potions; they're a lifesaver if you dip into the lava by accident.
