Try resetting the controller by pressing the tiny reset button on the back near the L2 button with a pin. If that doesn't work, you might need to take the controller apart and clean the joystick sensors. But be careful and follow a guide!

Honestly, just buy a new controller. It鈥檚 easier and saves you a headache.

Sometimes just recalibrating the joystick in the settings can solve the problem. Go to System Settings > Devices > Controllers > Adjust Analog Stick and follow the prompts.

Had the same issue! Opened it up, cleaned around the stick with isopropyl alcohol, and it worked like new. Just make sure you don鈥檛 lose any screws!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
