If your analog stick drifts or sticks, a quick temporary fix is to move the stick in all directions rapidly for about 30 seconds. It sometimes dislodges any dust or small debris causing the issue.

First, try recalibrating the controller by resetting it. Use a paperclip to press the reset button on the back of the controller for about 5 seconds. If that doesn't work, you might need to open up the controller and clean around the analog stick with isopropyl alcohol.

I've had success fixing drift by opening the controller and replacing the analog stick module. It's a bit of work and requires some soldering skills, but it brought my PS3 controller back to life!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
