Sometimes the battery just gives up the ghost. You might need to replace it. You can find replacement batteries online.

Make sure your controller is charged! Sometimes, it's just that simple. Plug it into your PS3 or a computer and see if it lights up.

Try connecting the controller with a USB cable and pressing the PS button. This has worked for me when my controllers were being stubborn!

First, try resetting your controller. There's a tiny reset button on the back near the L2 shoulder button. Use a paperclip to press it.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
