How to Fix Apex Legends Game Chat
Sometimes the good ol' turn it off and on again method works wonders. Restart your game and check your audio settings in-game to make sure your input and output devices are correctly selected. Also, check if the game chat is actually enabled in the settings; sometimes it gets turned off by accident!

Make sure Apex Legends has permission to access your microphone. On Windows, go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and allow apps to access your microphone. Also, check the in-game settings to ensure the correct mic is selected and that push-to-talk is set up how you like it.
Just use Discord. Apex's chat is buggy sometimes.
Had this issue last week! What fixed it for me was resetting the game's audio settings to default and then customizing them again. Somehow, it got my mic working again in the game chat.
If restarting doesn't fix it, try updating your audio drivers. Outdated drivers can cause all sorts of weird issues with game chat. Head over to your sound card manufacturer's website, download the latest drivers, and give that a shot.
