How to Fix Discord Overlay Not Working in Valorant
First off, make sure the overlay option is actually turned on in Discord. It's an easy miss. Go to User Settings > Overlay, and check 'Enable in-game overlay'. Then, in Game Activity, make sure Valorant is listed and the overlay is toggled on for it. If that doesn't do the trick, try running Discord as administrator. Right-click on Discord's shortcut and select 'Run as administrator'. This often solves the issue because it gives Discord more permissions to interact with other applications.

Make sure your anti-virus isn't blocking Discord or the overlay feature. Some anti-virus software mistakenly sees Discord's overlay as intrusive. Temporarily disable your anti-virus to check if that's the problem. If the overlay works without the anti-virus on, you'll need to add Discord as an exception in your anti-virus software.
Just press Alt+Z and see if it pops up. Worked for me when nothing else did.
Honestly, I just restarted my PC and it worked after that. Might not be a high-tech solution, but sometimes it's just that simple.
