I had the same issue! I just updated my controller firmware via the Xbox Accessories app, and it fixed the drift problem. Simple and effective!

First, try recalibrating your controller in the settings menu of your Xbox. If that doesn't work, you can also clean the joystick area with some compressed air to remove any dirt or debris causing the drift.

Switching to a new controller is the best fix. Sometimes it's not worth the hassle.
