Try turning down the volume or using a different headset to see if that stops the echo. Sometimes it's just that simple!

Echo is often caused by your chat settings. Enter the audio settings on your Xbox and adjust the mic monitoring and chat mixer levels until the echo disappears.

Make sure your controller firmware is up to date. A quick update can sometimes fix unexpected issues like this.

My personal trick: Turn off and then on your Xbox and headset. You鈥檇 be surprised how often a simple reset fixes annoying issues.

First, check to make sure your headset isn't the culprit. Sometimes the mic picks up the sound from the headphones, causing an echo. Adjust the mic sensitivity or mute other players to see if that helps!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
