Did you try turning it off and on again? Reboot your device; it works wonders more often than you think.
Clear the cache! Sometimes Facebook just needs a bit of spring cleaning to run smoothly again.
Uninstall and reinstall the app. I had to do this once, and it fixed my problem. Worth a shot!
