How to Fix Fallout 4 Not Launching
First off, try the classic IT solution: turn it off and on again. Seriously, restart your system. If that doesn't work, verify the integrity of game files on Steam. Right-click Fallout 4 in your Steam library, go to Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files. Steam will fix any corrupted files which might be causing the issue.

Another quick fix could be running the game in Compatibility Mode. Right-click on the Fallout 4 executable file, go to Properties > Compatibility, then check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and select an older version of Windows. Also, make sure to run it as an Administrator.
Nah, just reinstall the game. Fixes almost anything if the above solutions don鈥檛 work. Remember to back up your saves though!
Graphics drivers can also be a culprit. Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Both NVIDIA and AMD provide easy tools to check for and install the latest drivers. Outdated drivers can lead to all sorts of game launch issues, not just with Fallout 4!
