Honestly, just cap your FPS. It helps stabilize performance without the need for constant tweaks. Plus, do you really need more than 144 FPS?
Lower your graphics settings in Valorant and also make sure to switch off background apps that might be eating up your resources. Valorant isn't too demanding, but every little bit helps if you're aiming for those high FPS numbers.
I had this issue and realized my anti-virus was the culprit! Make sure your anti-virus isn't interfering with Valorant or mistakenly throttling it. Adding Valorant to the exception list solved it for me.
V-sync OFF, always. It's basically an FPS hog in disguise. You might experience slight screen tearing, but the FPS boost is usually worth it.
