How to fix game chat in Apex Legends
ConcludingDisc·7 months agoFirst thing, try a classic restart of the game or your console/PC. It sounds simple, but you'd be surprised how often it fixes the glitch. If that doesn’t work, check the game's audio settings and make sure the voice chat is actually enabled and the volume is turned up. Sometimes, settings get changed by accident or after an update.

Hot take, but just use Discord or another external app for voice chat. The in-game chat can be hit or miss quality-wise anyway.
Had this issue last week! I fixed it by updating my sound drivers on my PC and resetting the in-game audio settings to default. After a quick restart, everything was back to normal. Make sure your mic is properly plugged in or connected too!
Sometimes it's not the game, it's your headset. Try using a different headset or mic to see if that solves the problem. If not, it might be a more serious bug, and you should report it to the Apex support team.
