First thing, make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date! Sometimes outdated drivers cause these issues.

I fixed this by installing the DirectX End-User Runtime. Give it a shot, it might just do the trick!

Try running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7 or 8. That trick has saved my bacon more times than I can count.

Hot take: Just get a new PC. If the game doesn't run after that, well, at least you have a new computer.

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
