First, give your PS3 some breathing room! Make sure it's in a well-ventilated area with plenty of space around it. Clean out any dust from the vents using compressed air. If it's still overheating, you might need to replace the thermal paste inside.

I had this problem too! What helped me was elevating my PS3 on a stand to improve airflow and replacing the thermal paste. Also, I bought a cooling fan attachment, and it鈥檚 been running cool ever since!

Just clean the dust out of the vents and make sure it's not crammed into a tight space. Works like a charm!

Honestly, just make sure it's clean and ventilated. No need to overthink it.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
