First thing's first, check your internet connection. A simple router restart can do wonders. If that doesn't cut it, try connecting your PS4 directly to the modem with an Ethernet cable. WiFi is convenient and all, but nothing beats a good ol' wired connection for gaming. Still stuck? Maybe lower your game’s graphic settings or close other applications that might be hogging your bandwidth. And if all else fails, contact your ISP; there might be an issue on their end.

Tried all the typical fixes and nothing worked. Turned out my ISP was throttling my speed during peak times. A call to them got things sorted.

Hard reset your console and router, quick and easy. Works like a charm most times.

Honestly, get better internet. If your connection is weak, no amount of troubleshooting will save you in a high-stakes game like Apex Legends.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
