Check if the LED on the power brick is lit. If it's orange or not lit at all, you might need a new power supply.

Honestly? Just buy a new power brick. If it’s dead, no amount of tinkering is gonna bring it back to life.

Had this problem before. Unplug the power brick from the console AND the wall, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in. Worked for me!
