UnifyingSlum·7 months agoTry resetting the video output settings. With the PS3 turned off, hold down the power button until you hear two beeps — this usually takes about 10 seconds. This will reset the display settings to default.

Check the HDMI cable and ports. Sometimes the cable or port might be malfunctioning. Switching the HDMI cable or trying different ports on both the TV and the PS3 could solve the problem.
I had the same issue last month. What worked for me was switching the TV input to a different HDMI port, then back to the original one. It seemed to refresh the connection.
Make sure the PS3 firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues. Connect it to a different display using AV cables, update the firmware, then switch back to HDMI.
Honestly, sometimes you just need to give it a good ol' restart. Turn off the PS3, unplug it, and let it sit for a few minutes before powering it back on.
