First, try resetting it using the tiny reset button on the back of the controller near the L2 button. Use a pin or a paperclip to press it for a few seconds.

Have you tried plugging it into your PS3 with a USB cable? Sometimes a wired connection can re-sync the controller.

Honestly, the best fix might be a new controller. It's not worth the headache, trust me.

If all else fails, it could be a dead battery. Replacing the battery might do the trick, but that involves opening up the controller - proceed with caution.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
