First, turn off your PS4 completely. Then, press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps. Connect your controller via USB, and select the appropriate safe mode option from the menu. Good luck!

Had the same issue once! Make sure to try 'Rebuild Database' in Safe Mode. It usually fixes a lot of problems and doesn't affect your saved data.

Honestly, sometimes just choosing 'Restart PS4' in Safe Mode sorts things out.

Try updating the system software via Safe Mode. You can download the update file from the PlayStation website and use a USB drive.

From experience, if you're stuck in Safe Mode, selecting 'Initialize PS4' can solve the issue, but keep in mind it will wipe all your data, so back it up first!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
