How to Fix PS4 in Safe Mode

Had the same issue once! Make sure to try 'Rebuild Database' in Safe Mode. It usually fixes a lot of problems and doesn't affect your saved data.
Honestly, sometimes just choosing 'Restart PS4' in Safe Mode sorts things out.
Try updating the system software via Safe Mode. You can download the update file from the PlayStation website and use a USB drive.
From experience, if you're stuck in Safe Mode, selecting 'Initialize PS4' can solve the issue, but keep in mind it will wipe all your data, so back it up first!
