I had the same issue! A quick reset worked for me. Stick a paperclip into the tiny hole on the back of the controller, and it should reset.

First, check if the volume is up in your PS5 audio settings. Then, make sure your controller is fully charged and not muted.

Try updating the firmware for your controller through the PlayStation settings. Sometimes it's just a software glitch that an update can fix!
