First off, make sure your internet connection is stable. Wired connections beat WiFi for gaming any day. Secondly, close any background apps you don't need, especially those munching on your bandwidth like streaming services. Lastly, check if your PC meets Valorant's recommended system requirements, and lower your game settings if it's on the edge. Upgrading your graphics drivers could also work wonders!

Honestly? Get better internet. If you're already doing everything right with your setup and still facing lag, your internet might just not be cut out for gaming.

Lowering your game's graphical settings helped me a lot. Especially turning off VSync and lowering shadow quality. It seems like a small tweak, but it drastically reduced lag spikes for me.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
