The infamous red light usually means your PS3 is overheating. Turn it off, unplug it, and let it cool down for a while. Try cleaning out any dust from the vents and fans with compressed air before turning it back on.

Unplug it, let it cool down, and check for dust buildup. If that doesn't work, it could be a deeper hardware issue. Time to call support!

Had the same issue with my PS3. Unplug it for 30 minutes, and while you're at it, check and clean the vents to prevent overheating. Worked for me!

Sometimes, it鈥檚 just a power supply issue. Try a different outlet or power strip before jumping to bigger conclusions.

If your PS3 shows a red light, it might be the 'Yellow Light of Death.' You might need to send it in for repair if it's still under warranty.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
