To fix a ring scratch, try rubbing toothpaste (non-gel) on the scratch in a circular motion with a soft cloth, then rinse with warm water. It sounds weird, but trust me, it worked for my copy of Halo 3!

Use a disc repair kit from a store. They're usually pretty cheap and can save your game from the dreaded ring of death.

I've had some luck with a banana peel! Rub the inside of a banana peel over the scratch, then clean it off with a soft cloth. Sounds bananas, but it worked for me!

Hot take: Just buy a new disc. Time is money, and those repair techniques are hit or miss.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
