Had a similar issue once, turned out the screen resolution settings got messed up. Go to Settings > Display type and set it to Auto Detect.
Update your Roku software. An old or buggy version could be causing screen issues. Go to Settings > System > System update and check for updates.
Hot take: It's probably a bad screen. If you're still under warranty, get it replaced.
