Switching to ‘Windowed Fullscreen’ mode instead of ‘Fullscreen’ can also often stop the flickering.
First, try updating your graphics drivers! A lot of the times flickering issues are due to outdated drivers.
If you're using G-Sync or FreeSync, make sure they're properly configured. Sometimes, simply toggling these settings can solve flickering issues.
