Just go to Settings -> Graphics, and make sure Shadows are enabled. If they are, try adjusting the graphics settings to High or Ultra. Sometimes, a simple reboot can do wonders too!

Make sure your device's performance settings are optimized for gaming. Shadows might not render properly if your phone is in power-saving mode.
