I had this issue before! So, what you wanna do is restart your game and Steam. Sometimes it's just a sync hiccup. If that doesn't fix it, try disabling Steam Cloud for the game, play a bit, then re-enable it. It kinda forces Steam to resync. Also, check if Steam servers are down - it happens, and there’s nothing to do but wait.

Honestly, I just ignore the message. It usually sorts itself out after a while. Not the best advice, but if you're not losing game progress, it's not a huge deal.

Check your internet connection. Sometimes it's not Steam; it's your Wi-Fi playing tricks on you.

Just turn off and on again. Works like a charm for basically everything.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
