How to Fix Stick Drift on PS3

Clean the analog stick. Sometimes dirt gets stuck, causing drift. A quick fix is to gently lift the rubber skirt around the stick and blow some compressed air in there.

If you鈥檙e handy with a screwdriver, open up the controller and clean the inside. Make sure you clean the potentiometers (they look like small discs) with isopropyl alcohol.

Try resetting the controller! Turn off your PS3, locate the tiny reset button on the back of your controller, and press it with a paperclip. Restart and see if that helps!
