How to Fix Stick Drift on Xbox Series S Controller
Sometimes stick drift is caused by dirt or dust. Try cleaning around the base of the joystick with a can of compressed air! If that doesn't work, recalibrate the controller from the Xbox settings—this can often fix minor issues.

Honestly, just buy a new controller. It's probably quicker and less frustrating than trying to fix it.
Go to System > Devices & Accessories, select your controller, and run through the calibration process. If that still doesn't resolve the drift, you might need to consider replacing the thumbstick module entirely.
I had the same issue! Opened up my controller and used a Q-tip with some isopropyl alcohol to clean the stick sensors. Worked like a charm.
