Dab a little isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab and gently clean around the sticky buttons. It often works wonders!

Take a can of compressed air and blow around the buttons to dislodge any debris. Sticky buttons, begone!

I've had success using a toothpick to carefully scrape around the edges of the buttons. Just don't go too hard; you don't want to scratch anything.
