How to Fix Terraria Multiplayer Connecting Issues
CorsetingJoke·8 months agoGot stuck on connecting in Terraria multiplayer? First thing, check if your game's updated to the latest version. Both you and your friend need the same game version. Also, try restarting your router—it sounds basic, but sometimes it's just a glitchy internet connection. If you're using Steam, verify the integrity of game files through the Steam app. This can fix any corrupted files messing with your multiplayer.

Just disable and then re-enable your firewall or antivirus. It might be blocking Terraria from connecting. Worked for me!
Double check the port you're using. When hosting, Terraria uses a specific port that needs to be open for friends to connect. If you're not sure how to do this, look up how to port forward for Terraria specifically. And don't forget to check your firewall settings; sometimes it blocks the game without you realizing.
lol just play single player, multiplayer is too much hassle.
