How to Fix Terraria Multiplayer Lag
Hey! So, if you're getting lag in Terraria multiplayer, first thing, check your internet connection because that's often the culprit. A wired connection rather than Wi-Fi can make a huge difference. Also, try lowering your game's graphics settings and see if that helps smooth things out. Sometimes the fancy effects are too much for your connection to handle smoothly.

Another quick fix is to make sure the host has a strong internet connection. If the host's internet is slow, everyone's gonna have a bad time. So, pick the friend with the best internet to host your game!
As much as we want to blame the game, sometimes it's just about having too many players in one game. Terraria can get a bit overwhelmed with a lot of players building, fighting, and exploring in the same area. Try playing with a smaller group or on a less busy server.
lol just play single player, no lag there ;)
Y'all, just keep it simple. Check if Steam (or your platform) has any updates or if Terraria itself needs updating. Outdated software can sometimes cause weird lag issues.
