How to Fix the Edges of a Pokemon Card
EmptyingDaisy路7 months agoIf you're thinking of fixing the edges because they're bent, just place the card under a heavy book for a few days. It won't fix fraying, but it can help flatten out any curls or minor bends. Just make sure the card is clean and dry first!

To fix frayed edges on a Pokemon card, you can gently use a fine sandpaper or a nail file. Just lightly sand the edges to smooth them out. Be super careful not to sand too much though, cause you don鈥檛 wanna damage the card more. After sanding, you can use a clear nail polish or a bit of glue to seal the edges. Makes it look almost new if you do it right!
I fixed a card once by using a very fine marker to fill in the edges after smoothing them out with a nail file. It's a bit risky cuz you gotta match the color perfectly, but if you nail it, the card looks great.
Honestly, the best advice is to leave it alone. Messing with the edges could actually lower the card's value, especially if you're not super careful. If it's a valuable card, keeping it in its current condition and maybe using a protective sleeve is probably your best bet. No fixes needed.
